I’m Joshua Dane Stierley, DNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I provide holistic, evidence-based mental health care for children, teens, and adults. My approach blends medication management with supportive therapy, CBT, and integrative strategies to help you find balance and relief. I treat a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and more. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan. My approach is holistic and integrative, blending medication management with supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, and wellness-focused interventions tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Since beginning my healthcare career in 2017, I have gained extensive experience in psychiatry (both inpatient and outpatient), level I trauma care, multi-specialty medical-surgical nursing, and acute inpatient rehabilitation. I have had the privilege of serving diverse populations in urban, suburban, rural, community health, and veteran care settings.

In my practice, I treat a wide range of mental health conditions including stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar I and II disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, substance use disorders, and sleep disturbances. I welcome patients of all ages and am committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment, with a strong emphasis on affirming care.
